Jennifer Poindexter, ND, LMT
Welcome to Silver Creek Natural Medicine. I am very excited to be able to provide Naturopathic care for the locals in and around Silverton. I began my journey in Naturopathic medicine in 2006 when I became a massage therapist. I love the art of healing the body, but also felt restricted in what I could provide my clients. I sought to learn more about the body and mind connection. Over several years working as a massage therapist, I pondered the thought of expanding my abilities and knowledge and in 2010 I pursued Naturopathic Medicine. I went to National College of Natural Medicine (now NUMN), and received my doctorate in 2016. I have been practicing family care medicine since. I am excited to bring my years of knowledge and skills to the area and community.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending time with partner, Peter, and our dogs.
My Approach
As a Naturopathic Physician, I listen to my patient’s concerns and create health goals with them. I strive to find the root cause of the ailment and correct the foundation of each patient’s health. I believe that each person is different and no two treatments are exactly the same. You are unique and your health should be approached with compassion and understanding. I utilize my knowledge of nutrition, herbal medicine, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
