About
Jennifer Poindexter, ND, LMT
Welcome to Silver Creek Natural Medicine. I am very excited to be able to provide Naturopathic Medical Care for the locals in and around Silverton, Oregon. I began my journey in the healing arts in 2006 when I became a massage therapist. Although I loved the bodywork, I also felt restricted in the services I was able to provide my clients with. As I explored more to learn about the body and mind connection, I became interested in how natural health is used to improve the quality of life. In 2010, I decided to expand my abilities and pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine. I attended the National College of Natural Medicine (now NUMN), and received my doctorate in 2016. I have been practicing Naturopathic Medicine in Oregon from Grants Pass to Portland since. I am excited to bring my years of knowledge and skills to the area and community of Silverton.
In my free time, I enjoy working on our hobby farm, cooking, traveling and exploring new areas with my partner and our fur babies.
Naturopathic Approach
As a Naturopathic Physician, I listen to my patient’s concerns and create health goals with them. I strive to find the root cause of the ailment and correct the foundation of each patient’s health. I believe that each person is different and no two treatments are exactly the same. You are unique and your health should be approached with compassion and understanding. I utilize my knowledge of nutrition, herbal medicine, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
Mr Peter Young, Co-Owner, Clinic Manager
G’day Mates!
I am happy to be joining Dr Poindexter and Silver Creek Natural Medicine as the clinic manager and co-owner. I arrived in the USA in 2004 from Melbourne, Australia and since my arrival, I managed multi-million dollar companies by developing efficient methods, procedures and policies to enhance the company’s overall performance. I will be bringing my 25+ years of managing experience and skills to Silver Creek Natural Medicine to strengthen and increase the Clinic’s growth and ability to offer more services to the community.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, listening music, tattoo art and spending time with my partner and our K9 companions.
Meet Our Comfort Dogs
George
Hello!
I am very happy to be joining my parents at work and to meet all my new friends. I am a friendly dog with a big heart. Treats are my absolute favorite thing in the world and I am always interested in having something yummy. When I meet new people I can get a bit excited and sometimes I will try to shake hands. This is troublesome at times because I have no hands myself so I hold your wrist in my mouth and wag my tail as a greeting. Please let the front desk know if you don’t want to meet and I can be a good boy and stay in my bed.

Hello!
I am excited to meet all my new friends at my parent’s clinic. I love to be pet and loved on. If you don’t give me your attention, it’s okay, I will remind you I am still in the room and gently put my paw on your leg. Okay, yes sometimes both my paws, but you’d love me. I am super soft and I love to give comfort and security when you visit. I hope to meet you soon, but if you do not want to meet, please let us know and I can be a good girl and go rest on my bed.
